Our documentary review process
We hold no player accounts and have deposited no real money with any operator — from Qatar that would itself be illegal, and we say so instead of staging tests we could not have run. Our method is documentary, and every review on this site follows the same six steps.
- List the operator’s claims from its official site: bonuses, licences, payments.
- Read the full published terms and conditions, not the banner summary.
- Check licence claims against public registries and print every conflict.
- Collect documented player reports, with the withdrawal record first.
- Verify payment lists, minimums and caps, and log what is not published.
- Score the brand out of 100 and re-verify the data every monthly cycle.
When sources conflict over a licence, an operating company or a bonus value, we publish the conflict instead of picking the friendliest number. When we cannot confirm something, the page says so. That is the whole method — and it is why some scores on this site sit lower than the same brands score elsewhere.
The five criteria and their weights
These are the same five criteria, with the same weights, that drive the scores on our homepage ranking — one model, one scorecard, no exceptions per brand.
💸 Withdrawal record & reputation
The heaviest weight. Documented complaints, resolution rates and blacklist presence — the single most common failure in this sector is the delayed or refused withdrawal.
🏛️ Licence & operator transparency
High weight. Registry listings and consistency of the operating company; unverifiable licence numbers and conflicting jurisdictions cost points.
💳 Payment diversity (crypto focus)
Medium weight. Verified coin and wallet lists, minimum deposits and caps — weighted toward what actually works for Gulf players.
🎰 Games library & providers
Medium weight. Advertised counts and provider names, always with their caveats — an advertised number is a claim, not a fact.
🌍 Arabic support & regional fit
Complementary weight. Verified interface languages and real localisation — a menu entry that says ‘Arabic’ is not the same thing as an Arabic experience.

The legal context in Qatar — read this first
Most methodology pages name and link the local regulator. In Qatar we cannot, because none exists: there is no Qatari gambling licensing authority, no licensed local operator, and Law No. 11/2004 (the Penal Code) prohibits gambling. Every brand reviewed on this site is an offshore operator, and no page here will ever call one of them ‘legal in Qatar’.
That reality shapes the scoring itself. Because no local authority protects the player, licence transparency and the withdrawal record carry more weight than they would in a licensed market — the operator’s own record is the only protection there is. The penalties, blocking risks and age rules are laid out in the legal-status section of our ranking, and our reviews repeat the warnings wherever they are relevant, not in the small print.
Local payment reality and currency
Qatari banking channels do not support gambling transactions, so we weight payment methods by what is practical locally: cryptocurrencies first — our July 2026 tally found USDT and Bitcoin accepted at all ten ranked brands — then e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller, then cards, which are the least reliable route.
Currency handling is part of the score. Only three of the ten quote their welcome offer in Qatari riyals — Megapari (5,780 QAR), Melbet (7,500 QAR) and 22Bet (6,000 QAR) — while the rest price in euros or dollars, and QAR is rarely a wallet currency, so most deposits involve a conversion. We log published minimums and withdrawal caps per operator, and where an operator publishes neither, the review says exactly that.
Independence and how this site is funded
Some buttons and links on this site are affiliate links, and the site may earn a commission if you open an operator’s website through them, at no cost to you. That relationship never buys a position. The rules we hold ourselves to:
- The ranking follows the published methodology — never the commission.
- Every warning stays published, including on brands we link to.
- Scores read the same with or without a commercial relationship.
- No operator sees, edits or approves a review before publication.
Self-exclusion and safe-gambling help
Qatar has no national self-exclusion register — another consequence of the absence of a regulator — so the only self-exclusion tools available are the ones each offshore operator provides at account level: deposit limits, cool-off periods and account closure. Our reviews check for these tools and say when they are thin; our assessment of AmunRa, for example, flags its limited responsible-gambling tooling as a con.

Continuous review and updates
A score dated a year ago is a rumour, not a rating. We re-verify offers, payment lists and licensing claims on a monthly cycle, and every figure on the site carries the date of the cycle that produced it — currently July 2026, with the next verification committed for August 2026.
Changes land in public: the changelog on our ranking page records entries, exits and re-verified offers rather than silently rewriting history, and the team section explains who does this work and under which three principles: no invented numbers, warnings first, independence. If we got something wrong, that is where you will see it corrected.
